Princeton 6th Jan. 1838.

Dear Brothers and Sisters I have taken the pleasure to write these few lines to inform you that l am in a good state of health and that I have privilege three times on the Sabba family prayers held twice a day. I [?] myself to church more so than I thank God that he hath so provided for me. A fine Presbyterian Church has been opened on the second Sabbath after I came to Princeton. There is also an Episcopal church and a few colored [?] The college is close by. I have been informed that there is a Baptist Church within two miles of this place. This place is fifty five miles off New York. This session will be out on the last of March they may expect to see me if nothing happened. I do endeavor to improve every opportunity I have in writing and studying my book. I would have written to you before but I was anxioius for you to see my own hand writing. If any of you wish to write to me as I shall be happy to hear from you my residence is at Mr. Sears Princeton New Jersey  Harriet Beech
